  • Robert Maulden

    Senior Vice President

    Robert Maulden is responsible for overall coordination of the acquisitions staff including marketing, underwriting, negotiating and closing both tax credit and market rate acquisitions for JHRA. He is also responsible for administering the pre-closing and construction monitoring due diligence programs.

    Prior to joining JHRA, Mr. Maulden served as Project Manager for the historic restoration of Jordan Hall at the New England Conservatory. In addition, Mr. Maulden gained extensive experience in affordable and special needs housing as Project Architect for numerous public and quasi-public development entities in the greater Boston area.

    Mr. Maulden received a B.A. degree in Architecture from University of Washington and a Master of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Maulden is a licensed architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects.


  • Reid Rovelli

    Vice President

    rrovelli@jhancock.com

    Reid Rovelli is responsible for underwriting, negotiating, and closing tax credit and market rate acquisitions for JHRA. In addition, he is also responsible for coordinating JHRA’s in-house origination efforts.

    Prior to joining the acquisitions team, Mr. Rovelli was responsible for assisting the portfolio and asset management teams with day-to-day oversight of JHRA’s affordable housing tax credit portfolio.

    Mr. Rovelli received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.


  • Daniel Csernica

    Acquisitions Analyst

    Daniel Csernica is responsible for financial modeling of all tax credit acquisitions and for assisting the acquisitions officers in the underwriting, negotiating, and closing of transactions. In addition, Mr. Csernica is also responsible for assisting JHRA’s in-house origination efforts.

    Prior to joining JHRA, Mr. Csernica completed his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
